MARTIAN: The Saint Of Loneliness on sale NOW!
Am thrilled to announce my second book, MARTIAN The Saint of Loneliness is on sale now. If my first book acts as an introduction into who I am, this book represents what I do as a poet.
The book has won the 2021 James Laughlin Award from the Academy of American Poets.
One of the poems from the book, Proof, has been published in the 2022 edition of Best American Poetry.
The book’s cover is by artist Wangechi Mutu. An extraordinary visual creator, her work was unknown to me until my publisher saw her work at the Oakland Museum. More and more I’m incredibly grateful to her work, her vision and for allowing us to use her extraordinary painting, Living Through Strange Times, for the cover.
Poets & Writers magazine recently asked Ten Questions.
There were book release events at Nomadic and City Lights Bookstore, but my assumption that videos would be released was wrong. At least for now.
Black Steel Magnolias In The Hour of Chaos Theory is still available as an audiobook, read by yours truly. MARTIAN: The Saint of Loneliness is too…
Let me know if you have any questions!
